Minimum Qualifications

: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have appropriate drivers license to operate all district grounds vehicles and trailers (valid Class B Minnesota driver's license). Ability to drive and operate pickup trucks, dump trucks, trucks with snow plows, trucks with trailers. Ability to operate different types of lawn mowing and trimming equipment. Ability to operate chainsaws, air compressors, and other related grounds maintenance equipment. Ability and experience in the following: sod laying, tree & shrub trimming and planting, snow plowing, weed spraying, lawn fertilizing, and sprinkler system operation, repair and maintenance. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to lift a minimum of lbs., to lift, carry, bend as needed. Ability to lift heavy weights over prolonged periods of time.
