We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Grounds Technician to join our Gardens and Grounds team, helping to maintain safe, attractive and well-managed outdoor spaces across our University estate.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services that support teaching, learning and research environments.
What will you be doing?
As a Grounds Technician, you will:
Carry out a wide range of grounds maintenance and landscaping dutiesOperate and maintain equipment such as mowers, tractors, ATVs and hand toolsEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with proceduresSupport seasonal and reactive work (e.g. storm damage or peak periods)Undertake duties such as mowing, strimming, litter picking (including sharps), and bin emptyingSupport street cleaning operations, including graffiti and fly-posting removalU...
