Description / Synopsis

A respected corporate group in the agriculture sector is seeking to appoint a Group Accountant to join their head office team in Rosebank, Johannesburg. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for the full accounting function for the Business’s South African entities, including processing of journals, payments, payroll, tax, and management accounts, and providing administrative support to senior management, secretarial services, and shareholders.

Minimum Requirements BCom Accounting or equivalent SAICA/SAIPA Articles preferred At least 5 years’ accounting experience and proven hands-on processing skills Knowledge of payroll, tax, and PAYE required Experience with compliance and administrative functions Proficiency in Sage Evolution and strong MS Excel skills Prior exposure to shareholder or board interactions is advantageous Responsibilities
