Duties & Responsibilities

This position will start in June 2024. It does not require a BEE candidate, and the multinational will consider a retired individual or a consultant who would like to fulfill a 6-month contract. They are not negotiable in terms of their requirements. You must have IFRS 16 and IFRS 9 experience; in addition, it is essential that you have sales and margin reporting experience. A qualified CASA is a must. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in group accounting in a large corporate environment is required. Proven knowledge of cost control, financial analysis, accounting principles, standard laws, and regulations is essential. Knowledge of corporate governance and compliance is a must, along with a solid understanding of statutory requirements. Proficiency in ERP and Excel is required.
