Position Summary: The Hairdresser (HD) provides a variety of professional hair services at our Patrons preferred locations such as in-home, long term care facilities, retirement homes, community care facilities etc. The HD offers haircuts, styling, washes, coloring, and treatments while delivering a personalized and convenient salon experience. As a staff member of SJHC, the HD understands quality customer service and takes a person‑centered approach to their work.

The typical SJHC Patrons that the HD would provide service to are those living either permanently or temporarily in a care facility, or who are receiving Home Care services in their homes. Patrons may be frail, elderly, have mobility challenges, or require support with the daily activities of living.
