Creswell Grove Children’s Home is looking for a reliable, hands‑on part‑time handyperson to help us provide a high‑quality living environment for the young people we support. This role is 15 hour per week, ideally worked over two days but this can be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Carry out everyday repairs, maintenance tasks and decoration to a high standard.
• Complete equipment and safety checks to ensure full health & safety compliance.
• Receive and safely store equipment and supplies in line with COSHH guidance.
• Keep accurate records for all maintenance, service checks and safety documentation.
• Test fire systems and support regular fire evacuation drills.
• Maintain both indoor and outdoor areas including gardens to keep the home safe and welcoming.
• Secure all materials and equipment in line with risk assessments.
