Position Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix AHV, and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments.
  • Design, deploy, and optimize compute and virtualization architectures across VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper‑V platforms.
  • Manage lifecycle activities including hypervisor upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and hardware refresh planning.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving hypervisors, virtual machines, storage integrations, and virtual networking.
  • Ensure high availability and resilience using technologies such as VMware HA/DRS, Nutanix Acropolis/Leap, and Hyper‑V Failover Clustering.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization across all compute clusters.
  • Implement and maintain security hardening standards for ESXi hosts, Nutanix nodes, and Hyper‑V hosts.
