HEAD COOK

LOCATION: Baldwin High School HOURS: 10 Month Schedule; 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM EFFECTIVE: August 28, 2026 REPORTS TO: Cook Manager, Building Administration, Assistant Superintendent for Business and Administrative Services RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Under general supervision, the duties require the use of judgment in preparing and cooking food for large groups
+ Supervising subordinate personnel
+ Prepares and cooks meat, fish, poultry, soup, vegetables, salads, rolls, cakes, pies and other foods
+ Assists in the planning of menus and the purchasing of food
+ Supervises the cleaning of the kitchen and storage areas
+ Inspects and maintains inventory of food and supplies
+ Coordinates food deliveries for all buildings
+ Coordinates attendance and coverages
+ Maintains time records of all employees
