The Head of Laboratory is responsible for the planning, establishment, and overall management of the Hospital Medical Laboratory. This includes day‑to‑day operations, strategic planning, quality systems implementation, cost management, and staff supervision to ensure the laboratory delivers timely, accurate, and cost‑effective diagnostic services that meet hospital needs and accreditation standards.
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring timely, accurate, and high‑quality diagnostic services.
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company direction and business growth.
- Monitor operational KPIs, turnaround times (TAT), test volumes, productivity, and client satisfaction.
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the daily operations of the laboratory to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
