Dartmouth Partners are supporting a European private equity fund on the search for an Interim Head of AI / AI Platform Lead to build out internal AI and data capabilities.

This is not a generic AI strategy role, and it’s not a standalone engineering mandate.

The focus is on making the fund’s internal data actually usable, and embedding AI into investment processes.

At the core of the problem:

The fund holds large volumes of unstructured data across deal materials, IC papers, portfolio reporting and value creation work.

They need someone who can structure it, make it searchable, and turn it into a decision‑making asset.

You must have:

• Experience building AI / data capability from concept through to production
