We are delighted to be supporting a well known name in South Yorkshire manufacturing with the recruitment of a Senior member of their Engineering team.

The role:

Managing, training and developing the Engineering Technicians
Ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met within the Engineering Department
Manage training of your team using a skills matrix and plan training to improve skill levels as needed.
Lead the team by example, spending time with them on the job to pass on your knowledge
Ensure all works are to a good standard and your teams leave work areas in a presentable condition, and hand back forms are completed as required.
Generate and deliver toolbox talks as required
Plan work for your team utilising CMMS system and ensure your team complete reports as required.
Manage breakdowns to ensure a satisfactory solution is found in a timely manner and external department heads are kept up to date.
