Position Description:

This individual will be the primary legal advisor to AIG North America Financial Lines, leading a team of attorneys supporting the business unit. AIG North America Financial Lines provides management and professional liability insurance solutions that help protect public, private, and non-profit companies, financial institutions, and professional service providers from a wide range of executive and errors & omissions liability exposures. We are seeking a candidate with significant experience in Financial Lines products that will provide leadership and sound legal and business judgement to the business unit.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:

+ Acting as the lead legal advisor to the Financial Lines leadership team and its underwriters with respect to transactional, regulatory, legal and compliance matters impacting the business unit and the organization more broadly;
