**Head of Operations**

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned executive leader within the life sciences industry to serve as Head of Operations at a leading biotech company in South San Francisco, CA.

**Responsibilities**

+ Provide full ownership of manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain, tech transfer, and facilities.
+ Drive operational performance (on-time delivery, COGS, product quality, safety) to meet company objectives and enable scaling for complex product launches.
+ Oversee enterprise cost structure, capital allocation, and disciplined resource management.
+ Report operational performance at the Board level and represent operations externally to investors or strategic partners as needed.
+ Operate as a peer to the CEO and other executive leadership team members.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a lean, high-performing team (8-10 direct/indirect reports).
