The Social House Nairobi Hotel is looking for an exceptional talent who lives and breathes the art of pâtisserie and whose creations turn moments into memories.
This role demands a visionary with deep expertise in classic and modern French pastries, an eye for detail and the leadership to inspire a passionate team.
YOUR ROLE:
Design and execute an innovative pastry program rooted in classic French technique.
Lead, mentor and inspire the pastry team to uphold five-star standards.
Oversee all pastry operations, ensuring excellence in taste, presentation and consistency.
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene (HACCP), cost control and premium ingredient sourcing.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A Pastry/Culinary degree
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a luxury environment, including 3+ years as Head of Pastry.
Mandatory expertise in French pastry: viennoiserie, entremets, plated desserts, and chocolate/sugar work.
