Position Name: Health Aide (TENS)

Reports to: Nurse Coordinator & Director of Student Support Services

Time commitment: Full-time

Position Purpose

To provide comprehensive care and attention to a patient with physical disabilities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and health well‑being within the academic setting throughout all stages of the condition. The person will be responsible for providing direct assistance with daily activities, feeding, mobility support, assistance and support in bathroom use and assessment of prescribed medical and kinesthetic treatments, always maintaining a respectful, empathetic, and proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences

• Accredited degree as TENS or person with experience taking care of patients
• Preferably with experience in caring for patients with neuromuscular diseases or physical disabilities
