About the Role

Outpatients is a dynamic, fast‑paced ambulatory care setting spanning Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Community Hospital. Our clinics are patient‑ and whānau‑focused, supporting patients from their First Specialist Appointment (FSA) through to follow‑ups, procedures, and long‑term care coordination. The Health Care Assistant (HCA) role in the Outpatients Department is to support the delivery of safe, effective, and patient‑centred outpatient services by assisting the nursing team with delegated clinical and service activities.
