Summary

Reporting to the Manager HSE, the Health Safety & Environment Advisor will work alongside the national health and safety team and local operations. The Advisor will emphasize firsthand engagement and direct involvement with field operations to ensure risks are managed effectively and control measures are practical and implementable in the construction environment. This position will provide support to operations in the Greater Toronto Area and is primarily field‑based with travel expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site‑specific risk assessments on construction and infrastructure sites.
• Observe real‑time operations to identify hazards.
• Assess risks for high‑risk tasks such as excavation, scaffolding, crane operations, trenching, paving and confined spaces.
