Requirements: A Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. Valid SAMTRAC or NOSA certification (advantageous). Experience: 45 years hands-on experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in both Forestry and Mining environments. Strong understanding of safety protocols in high-risk, remote, or environmentally sensitive work sites. Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and implementing corrective actions. Key Skills & Competencies: Excellent knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant South African HSE legislation.
