Position description

The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles are recruiting for a new faculty position for further expansion of our clinical and research programs. The primary work site is at Olive View Medical Center (LA County Facility) which is 25 miles from UCLA main campus, with an expectation of an average of 40 hours per week at this site. Olive View responsibilities include outpatient clinics in general neurology, inpatient attending for Neurology consult service, reviewing eConsults for appropriateness for clinic visits and providing advice for treatment/workup. On call for the neurology service covering the ER and inpatient service on average up to 12 weeks per year, but subject to clinical and department needs. The provider will also perform and interpret EMG/NCV, and assist with EEG reading and standby EEG call at Olive View.
