Summary **ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a HEALTH TECHNICIAN (AUDIOLOGY/HEARING CONVERSATION PROGRAM) in the CHIEF, BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of US NMRTC OKINAWA JA. Responsibilities You will determine types of tests and medical procedures to administer to include baseline, pre/post-deployment, pre-employment, separation, periodic physical exams, medical surveillance, job certification, and preventive health assessments. You will prepare patients for audiometric assessments, reviews test procedure processes, and delivers clear, concise test procedure instructions. You will evaluate test and procedure results, reviews result with patients and makes disposition determinations. You will provide practical hands-on education and demonstrations of proper hearing protection insertions/fittings. You will provide proactive hearing loss prevention services.
