Summary The Health Technician (HT) Telemetry position is located within the Nursing, Acute Care service line at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center in Miami, FL. Telemetry Health Technicians at this level are under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/ or assigned designee. They will be assigned to the central telemetry monitoring unit working a rotating tour of duty. Responsibilities Duties included but not limited to: Continuous cardiac monitoring and direct and indirect patient care. Provide continuous ECG rhythm observation while concentrating on observation of patient status through review of ECG strips and recognition of arrhythmias. Provide assistance of a technical, specialized, or support nature to health and medical personnel in supporting the diagnostic or treatment process of patients with cardiac conditions.
