We are currently looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to join our busy 17 bedded surgical ward on C14B at RBH. We look after a variety of patients with surgical diagnoses, including pre and post op care. Our patients can be quite complex with a variety of needs, with a lot requiring considerable nursing care.
General duties will include assisting patients to meet their hygiene needs both at the bedside and in the bathroom with showering etc, pressure area care and positional changes in patients who are unable to move themselves, giving out and collecting in meals to patients and assisting patients who need support to meet their nutritional requirements, working alongside a trained nurse to deliver a high standard of nursing care,
