Ward 29 is a 25-bedded general surgical ward with a specialist focus on urology. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care through compassion, professionalism, and strong teamwork. We are currently seeking dedicated Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs), formerly known as SHCAs, to join our dynamic team. If you have a caring nature, a passion for helping others, and a team-focused attitude, we would love to hear from you.

As a vital member of our ward, you will work closely with registered nurses to provide holistic care to our patients. Your role will involve supporting patients with personal hygiene including washing and dressing, providing pressure area care, assisting with nutritional needs, helping patients mobilise and transfer safely, recording vital signs, performing ECGs, and assisting with catheter care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients every day.
