Job Summary: The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate heavy machinery for construction, demolition, concrete breaking and removal projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities: Operates construction, excavation and demolition equipment including excavators, front end loaders and skid steers. Ability to load dump trucks with broken concrete utilizing an excavator or front end loader. Ability to break concrete with an excavator with hydraulic breaker. Operates machinery used to build and/or demolish bridges, buildings and highways. Inspects and fuels equipment prior to beginning shift. Communicate clearly with dispatch and supervisors Performs routine maintenance and repairs.
