As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be an essential part of the Shop Maintenance team at Baranko Companies. You'll play a key role in keeping our heavy equipment running smoothly to support ongoing projects. This hands‐on position provides an opportunity to apply your technical expertise and problem‐solving abilities to contribute to the overall success of the company. Responsibilities Conduct inspections on heavy equipment, such as scrapers, bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment to detect and diagnose issues with their engines, transmission, or hydraulic systems. Develop and implement maintenance plans for all heavy equipment on site, ensuring that each machine is tuned to the manufacturer's specifications. Take apart engines and transmissions to perform repairs or replace malfunctioning parts. Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance on heavy equipment.
