Purpose of the role

Analyse, monitor, and conduct due diligence on hedge fund managers across strategies (equity long/short, global macro, event-driven, relative value, CTA/managed futures) in Layer 3 of the global portfolio. Work directly with the AI Lab's tools to amplify analytical capacity and contribute to the institutional knowledge base.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and analyse 10–15 hedge fund managers: performance attribution, strategy drift monitoring, liquidity term analysis, and risk/return profile assessment. Conduct qualitative and quantitative due diligence on prospective hedge fund managers: investment process analysis, operational due diligence, team stability, fee negotiation. Track hedge fund portfolio exposures: net/gross exposure, sector tilts, geographic allocation, leverage levels, and drawdown analysis.
