Position Overview

Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, independently performs a variety of minor tasks and assists tradespersons or other maintenance personnel in their job function.

Experience

Two years' experience in assisting with trades-related maintenance work in institutional buildings required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

Complete Grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Current Manitoba driver's license required.

Physical Requirements

Manual dexterity required.

Must be able to withstand periods of strenuous activity.

Job requires heavy lifting, bending, and working form scaffolds, high level platforms and in confined spaces and enclosures.
