Responsibilities

You will work as part of the Logistics Delivery team, which operates a fleet of potable water tankers to support both reactive and planned work. Within this team, you will learn how to take water samples before loading and discharging them into hydrants or reservoirs.

This role requires following processes and procedures, driving HGV 1 and HGV 2 vehicles (manual and automatic gearboxes), and operating support vehicles such as welfare vans.

Qualifications

• Class 1 HGV Driver experience.
• Happy working on a rotational shift pattern, including days and nights.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
• Full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card.
• Clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
• Working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.
