Overview

High Voltage Cable Engineer – Underground and Submarine cable in Madrid or Barcelona. Full‑time position focused on HV, MV and LV cable design for offshore wind, power‑to‑X, carbon capture and energy transition projects. Working across all project delivery phases from concept, feasibility, detailed engineering, EPC and follow‑on engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and prepare technical reports.
• Perform cable rating and thermal calculations.
• Design onshore cable bondings and jointing arrangements.
• Develop onshore cable routes and installation strategy (direct burial, HDD, drilling, crossing design).
• Assess interface with transition joint bay, substation and civil works.
