**Hiring Grinding Room Technician / Shop Laborer (Abbeville, SC** **)**

**Pays up to $16/hr.**

**Pay:** $15/hr + Incentive Pay

Shift: 1st 7a-3:30pm (M-F)

2nd 4p-1:30a (M-Th) 4p-8p (F)

Hiring Grinding Room Technicians / Shop Laborers to finish and prepare copper castings in a production environment.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Grind, sand, and polish castings to remove excess material
+ Use grinders, belt sanders, and saws to finish parts
+ Cut gates and risers from castings
+ Inspect parts for defects and quality
+ Move and handle castings using carts or hoists
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area

**Requirements:**

+ Experience with hand and power tools
+ Ability to operate grinders, sanders, and saws
+ Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
+ Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE
+ Comfortable with physical work and standing for long periods
