The Department of History at the University of Zurich is filling a vacancy as of January 1, 2027 Senior Teaching and Research Assistant position (80%, limited to an initial 3 years, possibility of one 3-year extension).

The Department of History at the University of Zurich is one of the largest and most diverse historical institutes in the German-speaking world. Around 130 members of staff teach and conduct research here; around 2000 students are enrolled on Bachelor and Master degree courses and doctoral programs.

The Senior Teaching and Research Assistant position is affiliated with the Department of History. Applications from all periods (from antiquity to contemporary history) are possible.
