Overview

Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.

Vilna School and the Vilna Outreach Achievement Academy (VOCAA) are located in the hamlet of Vilna in Smoky Lake County, serving students from preschool (age 3) through Grade 12. The school provides a safe, caring, and inclusive environment grounded in strong relationships, compassion, and a focus on literacy, numeracy, and self‑regulation.
