Horticultural Technician
Talentmark are recruiting for a Horticultural Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 12-months.
Salary:
£14.85 – £18.59 per hour PAYE
Horticultural Technician Role:
Look after plants and greenhouse facilities on a day-to-day basis.Check plants regularly for pests and diseases and apply biological pest control as needed.Monitor, maintain and calibrate the automatic irrigation system and prepare nutrient solutions.Inspect plants held in quarantine for signs of viral and other diseases.Carry out plant propagation and help co-ordinate the export of plant materials.Your Background: Hands-on experience working with plants or trees, whether through a previous role or as part of a course.Good general horticultural knowledge and practical skills.Comfortable working both independe...
