Position Overview

The Village of Millers Creek located in Ajax, ON an exciting opportunity for a Horticultural Therapist - Independent Contractor to join their team. 

• Status: Part-Time
• Location: 1401 Harwood Ave N Ajax, ON L1T 4T9
• Expected Start Date: Fall 2026 


Hours: 65 hours / month


To be successful as our new Horticulture Therapist, you will:

  • Be enrolled in or completed a Degree in Horticulture Therapy or equivalent  

  • Completed the required 480 hours of internship 

  • Be an eligible member of the Canadian Horticulture Therapy Association 

  • Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village

  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
