Our client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Hospital Specimen Technician for their Chicago, IL location. Responsibilities:


+ The Hospital Specimen Technician is responsible for the preparation of patient’s specimens in a hospital location.

+ The Hospital Specimen Technician must be able to perform and follow all pre-analytical processing procedures with accuracy and in a timely manner.

+ The roles & responsibilities below are specific to samples being performed for Client laboratory testing

Specimen Processing & Test Send Out

+ Demonstrates excellent proficiency in test ordering policies, hospital processing procedures, specimen requirements for test ordering, sample preparation, Quantum, and compliance/legal requirements.

+ Knowledge and competency of Hospital

+ LIS system (client specific)

+ Print Client performed testing reports
