**POSITION PURPOSE**

Transfer and transport patients safely and effectively from patient care areas to and from diagnostic/ testing areas.

**Required Qualifications:**

**Education**

+ High school diploma or GED recommended. Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.

**Experience**

+ Prior healthcare experience is not required.​

**What you will do:**

+ Transport stable, non-monitored patients from patient care areas to and from diagnostic/ testing areas (such as CT, X-ray, Angio, Hemo) and to inpatient units for admissions.
+ Able to effectively communicate with the patient, family, visitors, and the direct care providers.
