# HousemanThis role forms part of the housekeeping team at Camps Bay Retreat, within the Village n Life hospitality group.**The Role**As a Houseman you’ll support the housekeeping team with physical tasks and ensure public areas, rooms and facilities are maintained to Village n Life standards. You’ll assist with cleaning, maintenance, garden upkeep and guest requests, helping create a well-kept and welcoming environment.**Key Responsibilities**– Clean public areas, rooms, bathrooms and storerooms – Maintain the pool and outdoor areas – Carry linens, towels, toiletries and cleaning supplies – Move furniture, turn mattresses and polish furniture and equipment – Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors as required – Clean carpets, rugs, draperies and upholstery with appropriate equipment – Wash windows, walls and woodwork, waxing and polishing where needed – Maintain gardens by sweeping and removing dead plants – Keep storage areas stocked, tidy and sanitary – Record and report maintenance iss...
