Avanceon is looking to hire HSE Engineer on a contractual role
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Conduct daily site inspections, rigorous hazard identification, and risk assessments for all high-risk activities, particularly in hazardous oil and gas environments.
Manage and enforce a strict Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for all hot work, confined space entry, and heavy lifting operations.
Lead and facilitate daily toolbox talks (TBT) and deliver comprehensive HSE induction training to all onsite staff and subcontractors.
Supervise the proper use, maintenance, and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure all personnel are protected.
Lead incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
