The HV Substation Engineer is responsible for the engineering activities required for turnkey EPC high‑voltage substation projects, including detailed design for high‑voltage substation and transmission projects. This position offers the ability to directly apply the candidate’s knowledge of electrical engineering in substation and transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Review project design criteria and prioritize tasks for ongoing projects.
• Develop one‑line and station auxiliary one‑line diagrams for new substation projects.
• Attend internal project team meetings to discuss general arrangement, layout, and elevation drawings.
• Share progress updates and address design concerns.
• Perform grounding, cable ampacity, lightning, illumination, and load calculations; document results and integrate them into the overall design.
