HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic

Location: Brantford, ON N3T 5M1

Salary: 50.00 to 58.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 35 to 55 hours bi-weekly

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Shift: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, On call

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work environment: Hot, Cold/refrigerated

Responsibilities

• Install and overhaul heating systems
• Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
• Troubleshoot heating systems
• Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
• Provide customer service
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
