This work involves supervising the work of a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Shop. This position is located in the Facilities Maintenance Department of Operations and Facilities at Florida State Hospital.
Responsible for communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees.Responsible for planning and directing subordinates work.Plan workloads, workflows, deadlines, work objectives and time utilization with employees. Coordinates with the Service Response Center all work progress and completion in a timely manner. Coordinates purchases all necessary materials and equipment, maintains inventory records. Evaluate employees through establishing evaluation criteria and responsibilities and meeting regularly with employees to insure the pre-established criteria are met.Trains employees in methods for performing an effective and efficient job.
