Job Summary
The post holder will support the aims of the Trust and the NIHR clinical research network to improve the speed, quality, and integration of clinical research, through the successful delivery of clinical research within the specialty of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in the NHS.

The post holder will be a recognised expert in IBD research and in the field of clinical research, providing advice, care and support to patients entering clinical trials. He/she will take responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of the clinical research portfolio that reflects the patient population, the work and interests of the local clinical teams. The main focus of the role will be to take a leading role in the management of care pathways for patients and carers participating in research,
