Position Description:

The Department of Pathology at The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine is seeking scientist candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in immunology or cancer research. Candidates must have a doctoral degree (, or equivalent) and a research program in either the field of immunology, cancer, or a combination of both ( cancer immunotherapy). Candidates for Assistant Professor should have post-doctoral experience with a strong record of productivity. Candidates for Associate or Full Professor should have a record of ongoing extramural funding support and productivity. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills. Candidates with R01 level funding (or equivalent) are preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to run a strong and funded research program in some aspect of immunology or cancer biology, in addition to participating in clinical service and education (as appropriate).
