Join Wilfrid Laurier University as an instructor for a game design course in Fall 2026. Foster critical thinking while guiding students through the game development cycle.
The DD363 course at the Brantford campus allows students to explore solo game creation. You will mentor up to 40 learners in developing educational games, emphasizing game design principles and effective iteration. This role requires a hands-on approach to teaching key concepts in game creation and peer review.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures on game design methodologies
• Guide students in creating their own educational games
• Oversee the playtesting and feedback incorporation process
• Assist students in managing project timelines
• Host classes every Friday from 11:30 am to 2:20 pm
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Game Design or comparable field
• Minimum two years of game design experience
