Nakoda Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate certified teacher to lead a high‑needs classroom supporting students with exceptionalities. The successful candidate will create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that prioritizes student integration, individualized learning, and the development of essential life, literacy, and numeracy skills. This role requires a teacher who is passionate about advocating for students, building strong relationships, and helping learners develop independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to engage students in outdoor and land‑based learning opportunities and embrace and support Îyethka culture, identity, and ways of knowing as part of the learning environment.
