Position Overview

Incoming Quality Inspector (IQC) | Semicon | East Job Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming material inspection and/or verification of line fallout in a timely manner.
  • Make required quality decisions, decide if a corrective action is warranted and communicate with Supplier Quality Engineer and Buyers.
  • Sample materials using documented sampling plans and procedures.
  • Perform physical inspection of materials using tools including but not limited to micrometer, calipers and feeler gauges.
  • Maintain IQC tool calibration status and inventory control of IQC labels; raise requisition orders where needed.
  • Perform visual inspection to distinguish any discrepancy/difference in color, shape and texture of the material.
  • Record data into SAP system; initiate documentation and follow up with inspection and disposition functions.
