Job Summary

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in mining operations. This role supports safe, reliable production by ensuring all electrical components operate efficiently and in compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities


+ Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motors, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, lighting systems, and instrumentation

+ Troubleshoot electrical faults on mining equipment such as conveyors, crushers, pumps, drills, and processing plant equipment

+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

+ Test electrical systems using appropriate meters and diagnostic tools
