Swansea Council places great value in promoting early years and childcare believing In the ethos of providing every child with the best start in life to be the best that they can be.

The Early Years Programmes Team are seeking to recruit to the position of Early Years and Childcare Information and Compliance Officer on a full time temporary basis to provide maternity cover initially until 31/03/24.

The postholder will provide a line management function and work as a member of the Team to address statutory duties outlined in the Childcare Act with a focus on childcare sufficiency, the provision of accurate data and information as well as supporting a range of Childcare Programmes.

The successful candidate must have a relevant childcare qualification as well as experience of working in the sector.
