Overview

Our inpatient Palliative Care team is integrated in the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the NP in this role will see patients at Mount Auburn Hospital. Patients are referred from DFCI oncology providers or other inpatient providers for assistance in managing pain and non-pain symptoms, psychosocial stresses, and help in navigating medical-decision making related to a cancer diagnosis. The Palliative (Cancer Care) NP provides inpatient consultation and follow-up including opioid and symptom management for a patient caseload.
