Overview Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Inspector for 2nd Shift (Onsite) to perform basic dimensional and visual inspections of production turbine airfoils and other equipment using specified methods and techniques. Responsibilities Perform basic dimensional, visual, water, and airflow inspections on turbine airfoils and other parts. Accept or reject material based on inspection findings. Transport parts, raw material, and fixtures as required. Follow written inspection procedures, drawings, and operation sheets to plan and perform inspections. Utilize standard measuring techniques and inspection equipment to verify part accuracy. Perform in‐line checks and dimension verification according to proper procedures. Identify need for repair or replacement of equipment and arrange for it. Complete logs, quality assurance forms, and other records as required.
